I was checking my logs and found that you are using SMTP to send your emails though the server, but you do not have SMTP AUTH enabled in your email client. Enabling SMTP AUTH in your email client tells it to log into the email server when you send emails. Because the email server knows that you are really you, it can prevent other people who do not log in from using your account to send spam. There is no downside to enabling SMTP AUTH. The only reason it is no enabled by default is because some email servers do not support it. So, please enable SMTP AUTH it at your earliest convenience. It will only take a minute. Here are very simple instructions for most email programs... http://support.josh.com/smtpauth.htm Once everyone has it enabled, I can turn on some anti-spam strategies on the server that will help reduce spam for us all. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! -josh |
